Koval Distillery and Food Trucks - great pairing. Bring it to Oak Park.

Sarah thinks a glass of locally distilled - Oak Park locally distilled rum sounds fantastic!

I've cut and pasted the newsletter from Koval Distillery below.  I can see a distillery doing really well in Oak Park.   And that old Girl Scout building on Roosevelt seems like a great location.  So who is going to step up and bring a Boutique Distillery to Oak Park? Breweries are okay - but a distillery with local spirits seems right up our alley.  Bring it ON!

And the food trucks mentioned below - well that's a whole other fun retail dynamic Oak Park could use more of.

On the whole - this tour and food truck pairing sounds like a heck of a lot of fun and a great idea.

Koval is teaming up with local Chicago food trucks for our Distillery Tour! Come enjoy some local spirits and grub in Ravenswood throughout January. The food trucks will set up shop outside our distillery (5121 N Ravenswood) an hour before the tour begins. And it will stay until we are finished with the tour so you can eat before or afterward. The schedule is below - and make sure to reserve ticketsto the distillery tour since they frequently sell out (tour lasts 1 1/2 hours).

Wed January 11: Koval Tour with Getta Polpetta (Tour at 7pm)

Wed January 18: Koval Tour with Duck N Roll (Tour at 7pm)
